Liverpool have hinted that Trent Alexander-Arnold will start instead of Conor Bradley against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

The Reds vice-captain returned to the squad for the midweek Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, replacing his fellow right-back on the hour mark of the 2-2 draw with Everton.

That was Alexander-Arnold's first appearance since limping off against Bournemouth at the start of this month.

As such, he missed the second leg of the League Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield and the FA Cup fourth round exit to Plymouth Argyle.

However, the England international seemingly may start for the first time in a fortnight as the Reds welcome Wolves to Merseyside.

That may not be Arne Slot's only change from midweek, either.

One definite change to the matchday squad will be a replacement for Curtis Jones, who serves a one-match suspension due to his late yellow card on Wednesday.

Cody Gakpo could also be absent after being withdrawn at Goodison after sustaining a knock midway through the second half.

Darwin Nunez replaced the Netherlands international, meaning they may slot into the starting line-up should Gakpo be unavailable.

Diogo Jota, however, also made a late cameo instead of Luis Diaz, which is another option.

Both are among the 11 players featured by the club on their social media channels in a matchday graphic shared on Sunday morning.

Notably, though, there is no goalkeeper in the image, so at least one of them will miss out.

Diaz, Dominik Szoboszlai, Jota, Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil van Dijk feature prominently.

Alexander-Arnold, Alexis Mac Allister, who himself shared a matchday graphic to his social media platforms ahead of the game, Andy Robertson, Ibrahima Konate and Mohamed Salah are also present.

The club featured several players in their equivalent midweek graphic, with only Jones not starting the match.

Therefore, the absence of Bradley and Gakpo and the inclusion of Alexander-Arnold, Jota and Nunez are notable.
