Liverpool secured another huge three points on Saturday with Mohamed Salah scoring a brace in the Premier League win against Bournemouth. The Cherries came into the clash off the back of two dominant victories over Newcastle and Nottingham Forest which saw them pose a significant challenge to Arne Slot's side.

Though Alisson was required on a number of occasions, the Reds were able to keep a clean sheet with Salah, either side of half time, scoring from the penalty spot and curling in a wonderful strike. As a result of that triumph, the Reds are up to 56 points, nine above Arsenal before their huge clash at Emirates Stadium against Manchester City.

Regardless of the result from that game, Liverpool can further extend that gap later this month when they take on Everton in the final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park. Alongside that highly-anticipated fixture, The Echo has taken a look at some of the other games awaiting both teams.

Liverpool's next five Premier League fixtures

February 12 vs Everton (A) at 7.30pm - Premier League

February 16 vs Wolves (H) at 2pm - Premier League

February 23 vs Manchester City (A) at 4.30pm - Premier League

February 26 vs Newcastle (H) at 8.15pm - Premier League

March 8 vs Southampton (H) at 3pm - Premier League

Verdict: Over the next five weeks, Liverpool will be hoping to pick up a total of 15 points with some favourable fixtures on the horizon.

Up first, but after their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Tottenham and FA Cup fourth round tie with Plymouth Argyle, is the aforementioned clash against bitter rivals Everton. Since the arrival of David Moyes, the Toffees have won three out of four games and now sit 10 points away from the relegation zone

Just a few days later, Wolves arrive at Anfield where Slot and Co. will be huge favourites to win resoundingly. A trip to champions Manchester City follows that with Liverpool likely to believe they can get something from the game given the inconsistencies on show from Pep Guardiola's side.

Back-to-back league games at home are then on the calendar with Newcastle and Southampton travelling to Merseyside, potentially either side of a Carabao Cup final.
