Louie Barry speaks out on Aston Villa exit as he makes big admission
Aston Villa's promising young forward Louie Barry is "really excited" for spending the rest of the season on loan at Sky Bet Championship side Hull City.
The move, which was announced by both clubs on Wednesday, coincides with the 21-year-old extending his time at Villa Park by signing a contract extension. The length of contract is undisclosed.
Barry spent the first half of the campaign in League One with Stockport County. He scored 16 goals in 24 games in all competitions.

"I'm really excited. I had a good start to the season and, hopefully, I can end it really well," he told the Hull City media team.
"I’ve got a lot of goals in my mind that I want to achieve here. I spoke to the gaffer and he said all the right things.
"I started the season off by scoring goals and creating chances, and I want to end it the same way. I’m hungry, probably hungrier than ever, and I’ve got that point to prove in the Championship."
Barry continued: “I’ve never played in the Championship, so it’s my time to go out there and show people what I can do.”
He will work under former Southampton boss Rubén Sellés, who was appointed in December following the sacking of Tim Walter. Hull City are currently 19th in the league as they hope to steer further clear of the relegation zone.
