Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran is reportedly wanted by French giants Paris Saint-Germain. Colombian forward Duran has 12 goals across all competitions this season, and has scored three goals in his last three Premier League games. Earlier this season, he penned a new contract with the Lions which runs until 2030.

Reports on the continent have emerged ahead of the opening of the January transfer window that PSG - well on their way to an 11th Ligue 1 title in 13 seasons - are big fans of Duran, who drew plenty of interest in the summer from Chelsea and West Ham but who ultimately stayed put - and whose transfer value has rocketed since.

PSG are reportedly willing to offer France international Ranal Kolo Muani in exchange as part of a deal for Duran; the striker joined from Eintracht Frankfurt, where he'd earned a place in Les Bleus' international squad for the 2022 World Cup, in the summer of 2023 for a fee of €80m, but he has lost his place under manager Luis Enrique.

Kolo Muani hasn't started a game for PSG since early October and he hasn't even made the same squad in the last couple of games; Enrique has the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, Goncalo Ramos and Desire Doue at his disposal too, and Kolo Muani has struggled to make an impact.

Enrique offered a blunt response recently when he was asked about Kolo Muani's omission from the squad, in which he outlined this his own actions and decisions when it came to selection perfectly explained what he thought of his ignored option - but he did leave the door open for a return to the squad: “I could speak about it, but I won’t because my decisions say it all, even if, as I have said, all of my decisions can be changed.”
