Luke Littler has Man United plan after World Championship win with dig aimed at Liverpool
Luke Littler has said he would love the opportunity to parade his PDC World Championship trophy at Old Trafford after making history at Ally Pally.
The 17-year-old became the tournament's youngest-ever winner on Friday night as he defeated Michael van Gerwen 7-3 to cap off a stellar 12 months in the sport.
Littler raced into a 4-0 lead against the Dutchman, who had previously held the title as the youngest world champion when he won the first of his three world titles in 2014, aged 24.

But despite a strong finish from Van Gerwen, Littler was able to hold off a secure a first PDC World Championship and avenge last year's final loss to Luke Humphries.
And the teenager has now revealed how he would love to parade the Sid Waddell trophy at Old Trafford at an upcoming home game and joked that he was delighted to beat semi-finalist Stephen Bunting on Thursday night, so he wouldn't be able to do the same at Anfield ahead of Liverpool's game with United on Sunday.
"If they allow me to, then I'm sure I'll go to Old Trafford, yeah," said Littler. "I'm glad I beat Stephen [Bunting] yesterday because I'm pretty sure he was [planning] taking it to Anfield at the weekend."
After the match, Littler told Sky Sports: "I can't believe it. We both played so well. I've said in interviews that I needed to get off to a quick start tonight and that's what I did.
"Everyone dreams of lifting this trophy. You've got to get through a tough field. I can't believe it."
Van Gerwen, meanwhile, added: "We all know I've come from a far distance and I've been battling my own game. I'm 35, he's 17. Every 17 years, a star gets born."
