Luke Littler has revealed his ruthless streak after he progressed to the fourth round of the World Darts Championship on Saturday night.

Littler beat Ian White in the third round of the competition at the Ally Pally and did so with a real sense of confidence as he strutted about the stage.

Despite not being at his best, his 4-1 win has now set up a last-16 clash with Ryan Joyce.

The ruthlessness Littler showed could perhaps set him apart as he hopes to go one better than his performance last year, where he lost to Luke Humphries in the final.

The Nuke admitted that he's not the nicest person around the oche.

"It's good for me to show that I can be ruthless," Littler said in his post-match press conference. "I'm not a nice person at times on the board, I don't think anyone is.

"It's always good to have that bit of aggression. Ian has been around for many years, he's played my grandad. For me it's good to be ruthless, especially on that last dart."

Littler will face Joyce next, but his opponent appears to be already feeling the heat.

"If Luke Littler plays at his top level, he can beat anybody can't he? He'll brush me aside comfortably," he said.

Littler replied to that statement in honest fashion.

The teenager said: "I didn't know he said that. If that's what he's thinking, it's probably not good for his game. I've just got to focus on my game."
