Manchester United fan and darts sensation Luke Littler took his chance to wind up Manchester City fans as he celebrated Ruben Amorim's derby victory.

As City led 1-0 by the 87th minute, United fans were losing hope in what was a rather uninspiring derby day. Three minutes later, Amorim's men were winning 2-1 and the away support at the Etihad were beaming.

Josko Gvardiol's early header was cancelled out by a Bruno Fernandes penalty in the 88th minute, and a stoppage time winner from man-of-the-match Amad Diallo ensured Amorim of his first derby win in the dying embers of the game.

Littler, who has been preparing for his opening match at the World Darts Championship this year, was over the moon when his United team won their 81st Manchester Derby.

The Runcorn-born star took to Instagram to repost a full-time graphic shared by United whose caption read: "Manchester. Is. Red." The darts ace added his own thoughts as he wrote: "Manchester has always been red, get in your Reds."

This isn't the first time the 17-year-old has trolled one of United's top flight rivals. Last year, he poked fun at Liverpool fans after Jurgen Klopp's side lost to Atalanta and Crystal Palace back-to-back.

He shared a video of a WWE match which included three fights. Two wrestlers, who were covered by Atalanta and Palace badges, were standing over another who had a Liverpool badge superimposed on him.

The win for United sees them move closer to the top-half of the table, but they remain in 13th place, six points behind Nottingham Forest in the fourth place. Amorim's Reds are back in action on Thursday night when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup Quarter-Final.
