Luke Williams absent from Swansea City dressing room before and during QPR win
Luke Williams has explained his unusual decision to stay away from the dressing room during Swansea City's win over Queens Park Rangers.
The Swans boss revealed he did not go in to speak to his players either before the game or at half-time during the 3-0 victory.
Williams instead credited club captain Matt Grimes for inspiring his side as two goals from Liam Cullen and one from Goncalo Franco helped Swansea bounce back from losses to Sunderland and Hull City.

The manager was full of praise for the performance after the match, telling the BBC: “I didn't go into speak to the players before the game or at half-time, I left it to the captain.
“And that performance just stank of him. When we play at our very best, it's when the performance embodies him the most.”
Williams led his team in training as normal on Christmas Day and spoke to the players at the training ground.
However, he went to his office rather than the dressing room on match day and allowed his captain to take the lead.
While his decision might seem unorthodox, the Swans head coach said it was not unprecedented.
Williams said: “I have done it before as a coach. I spoke to the captain in the week and he had a few incredible insights for me.
“We have routines and certain things we do on matchday minus one or matchday minus three or whatever.
“But sometimes you feel like something is needed or not needed. Today was not about me, it was about the players listening to me maybe ranting (previously) and say 'okay, enough'.”
He added: “This performance has Matt Grimes written all over it. It's impossible for me to think I could have a better captain with how I want to play and how the fans want to see their team.”
The result saw Swansea move up to 10th in the Championship as they ended a three-match run without a win at home.
