Rangers have announced the signing of Dundee midfielder Lyall Cameron on a pre-contract agreement.

The former Scotland Under-21 starlet will join the Ibrox club in the summer when his deal at Dens Park expires. Highly-rated Cameron, 22, came through the ranks at the Dees and has racked up more than 100 appearances, scoring 27 goals and providing 12 assists. He made his debut aged just 16 against Raith Rovers in 2019/20 and has established himself as one of the top midfielders in the Premiership.

Now, he'll see out the rest of the season at Tayside before linking up with Philippe Clement's squad at the end of the campaign. Rangers Technical Director, Nils Koppen said: “I am delighted that we have agreed a deal for Lyall to join the club and to continue his career at Rangers come the summer.

"He is a talented young player, who has already gained great experience in the Scottish Premiership, and adding young, Scottish talent to our first-team squad is hugely important to all of us at the club. Lyall has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing him continue to grow at Rangers in the coming years.”
