Major decisions remain, loan moves - rate Liverpool's January transfer window
The January transfer window has closed for another year, with clubs locking in their squads to take on the remainder of the season. Liverpool entered the year in a strong place, and found themselves with little to do - but three major decisions remain.
Have your say! How do you rate Liverpool's January transfer window? Was there business that should've been done? Are the club well-placed to continue a title charge? Comment below, and join in on the conversation.
Liverpool had little reason to spend big in the transfer window, and came out of it with no new players. The club has capitalised on the disastrous form of defending champions Manchester City and only need to fend off Arsenal and surprise package Nottingham Forest in their pursuit of the title.

In terms of outgoings, Darwin Nunez was the subject of reported transfer interest from the Saudi Pro League, but Liverpool were not willing to entertain any offers despite the sums being quoted. Nunez will remain at Anfield for the rest of the season, but there is every possibility that a more comfortable summer transfer may be found.
Federico Chiesa was also rumoured to be of interest to other clubs, having not featured much in Arne Slot's team for the first half of the season. Recent appearances have quietened these rumours, and he may become a more regular squad player going forward.
The real clamour from fans in January was about the fate of the big Liverpool trio Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold. The three players that have played a huge part in the club's past successes have contracts that expire in the summer, and the club have been tight-lipped on their futures.
All three have expressed a wish to remain at Anfield, for now at least, but the trio would be superstars at any other club in the world should they end up leaving. Liverpool knocked back an approach from Real Madrid for Alexander-Arnold, and Salah is admired in the money-laden Saudi Pro League. Their fates remain to be seen.
