Aston Villa are unwilling to meet Chelsea’s £60m valuation of Joao Felix, while a loan move is also currently off the cards.

The Portuguese is known to be a long-term target for Unai Emery, who tried to sign him on multiple occasions previously. Villa were close to signing the former Benfica star last summer, before he was used as part of the exchange which saw Conor Gallagher move to Atletico Madrid.

Ezno Maresca has used Felix sparingly so far this season as he has only started three times in the Premier League. The 25-year-old joined the Blues for £45m, but despite his lack of game time in the first half of the campaign, his price tag has risen by £15m and Villa are not going to meet it in the final knockings of the window.

As for Disasi, Chelsea are demanding a high loan from Villa, who they see as direct competitors this season. Other clubs are interested in the France international, including Tottenham Hotspur.

Disasi would like to join Villa and informed Chelsea of his desire to link up with Emery, but a move now appears to be off.

Villa are in desperate need of a new centre-back after selling Diego Carlos to Fenerbahce in a deal worth £8.5m last month. Tyrone Mings has also missed the last two matches through injury, while Pau Torres is expected to be sidelined for another four weeks.
