Man charged over mass brawl at abandoned girls' under-12s rugby match
A 23-year-old man has been charged over his alleged role in a reported mass brawl at an under-12s rugby match.
Four months ago, at a girls rugby match between Mt Druitt Vikings and Penrith Brothers, a brawl reportedly erupted on the touchline, with parents capturing what happened on video.
Despite it being a big grand final match, the game was called off and no winner was declared.

An investigation was launched immediately afterwards, and after a four-month probe, New South Wales Police have now charged a man with affray.
The authorities provided an update over the weekend that the 23-year-old man had been arrested at Penrith Police Station. He has been granted conditional bail and will appear before Penrith Local Court on February 18.
