Manchester City welcome West Ham United to the Etihad Stadium as they look to win two games on the bounce for the first time since October.

After a dire run of one win in their last 13 games, City bounced back with an important 2-0 win over Leicester City last Sunday thanks to goals from Savinho and Erling Haaland.

It means they start the weekend in sixth place in the Premier League table, four points adrift of the top four and 14 points behind league leaders Liverpool.

They welcome a West Ham side to Eastlands who looked to have turned a corner under Julen Lopetegui in December before they were thrashed 5-0 by Liverpool last weekend.

Pep Guardiola has said he doesn't expect any fresh returnees for the visit of the Hammers, meaning Ederson, Ruben Dias, John Stones and Matheus Nunes are expected to join long term absentees Rodri and Oscar Bobb in missing out.

As such, Stefan Ortega is likely to continue in goal, with the back four of Rico Lewis, Manu Akanji, Nathan Ake and Josko Gvardiol expected to retain their places.

The midfield three of Mateo Kovacic, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva looked more balanced at the King Power Stadium, so they should all keep their place in the side.

Phil Foden may have a battle to keep his place in the front three ahead of James McAtee, who impressed from the bench last time out, while Savinho's goal should see him retain his place in the side. Haaland will continue up front.

Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish were fit enough to return to the bench against Leicester so should be in the squad again, while City can also count on Ilkay Gundogan and Jeremy Doku from the bench.

City's injury situation means youngsters Jahmai Simpson-Pusey, Divin Mubama and Nico O'Reilly will likely be included in the squad too.

Man City's predicted XI vs West Ham: Ortega; Lewis, Akanji, Ake, Gvardiol; Kovacic, De Bruyne, Silva; Savinho, Foden; Haaland
