Man City teenage sensation sends clear message ahead of pivotal week
Manchester City scoring sensation Reigan Heskey started the new year with a bang as his double for Oliver Reiss' Under-18 side inspired a 4-1 victory over Everton.
The talented teenager has 10 goals in 10 games in the Under-18 Premier League as well as finding the net in Premier League 2, the EFL Trophy and the UEFA Youth League this term.
He will hope to add a goal in the FA Youth Cup to his ever-increasing tally when City take on Millwall in round four on Thursday evening at the Joie Stadium. City are the holders and a win in midweek will take them into round five with a trip to either Leeds United - in what would be a repeat of last season's final - or AFC Fylde.

If Heskey continues to progress at this rapid rate, a move into first-team football might not be too far away. The quick and exciting winger has an eye for goal and has impressed with his ability and attitude in the academy. Heskey, son of former England striker Emile, will hope to continue his progress at academy level for the foreseeable future, given he is just 16.
He opened the scoring against Everton on Saturday with a deflected shot and added City's third with a clinical finish. Ryan McAidoo and Matty Warhurst were the other scorers for the Blues with Everton netting a late consolation thanks to a George Morgan penalty.
City welcome Millwall to the Joie Stadium in the Youth Cup on Thursday. The players will train on Sunday before being given Monday off ahead of the build-up to the contest.
