Man City transfer latest as new £50m move made amid triple 'agreement' and Alphonso Davies claim
Manchester City's January business does not appear complete just yet despite the fact Pep Guardiola looks set to welcome three new signings. The reigning Premier League champions have struggled significantly this season and currently sit 12 points off leaders Liverpool.
Injuries have significantly impacted City in a number of different positions with other key players, such as Phil Foden and Erling Haaland, struggling for consistent form. As a result, Guardiola has dipped into the January market for reinforcements with three deals, worth a combined £130million, wrapped up.
The biggest of those new signings is certainly Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt with a fee well over £50million agreed by both parties. A similar amount has also been spent on two others with Abdukodir Khusanov to join from RC Lens for £33.5million, while £29.4million has been spent on Palmeiras' Vitor Reis.

All three moves are expected to be confirmed in the coming days but it appears focus has been on a different announcement with confirmation of a new contract for Haaland arriving on Friday morning which will see him stay at Etihad Stadium until 2034.
Such a commitment appears to be a telling sign of the outcome City expect from their recent legal case against the Premier League. And it does not look as though Guardiola has finished quite yet with Juventus' Andrea Cambiaso lined up as a replacement for Kyle Walker who is of interest to AC Milan after making it clear he wans to leave.
According to the Telegraph, the versatile full-back is of interest to City, who have watched him in action this season, but a deal could be put off until the summer. Elsewhere, another full-back in Alphonso Davies is at the centre of some transfer rumours with Man City, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool as interested parties.
The Canada international sees his Bayern Munich contract expire this summer but talks are ongoing over an extension with club chief Max Eberl issuing an update on those conversations. "Patience is not one of my qualities," he said as quoted by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
"The talks are good and open, discussions are part of that. It's legitimate. We'll continue to try to make the best decision. The talks are still ongoing." There is potential for a pre-contract to be agreed however, with City now needing to decide on the player they pursue.
