Man City transfer latest amid £120million triple signing and intensifying midfielder search
Manchester City are set to kickstart their January transfer activity this week.
The Blues have opened the chequebook this month and are expected to complete three deals in the coming days at a cost of more than £120million.
Forward Omar Marmoush will arrive from Eintracht Frankfurt while defensive duo Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis will add depth when their moves from Lens and Palmeiras respectively are completed.

Marmoush said goodbye to the Frankfurt fans over the weekend when he joined in celebrations on the pitch after a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund. The Egypt international was in the squad for the 2-0 win on Friday night but was invited onto the pitch after the final whistle and accepted an ovation from fans on the pitch.
Khusanov was not involved for Lens in their defeat to PSG in the French top flight on Saturday and is understood to be close to finalising his move to the Etihad. Reis is also close to completing his switch as City begin their squad revamp.
The Blues have also been linked with a move for former midfielder Douglas Luiz at Juventus along with his team-mate Andrea Cambiaso. While interest in the latter might not materialise further this month, City are keen to strengthen in midfield given Rodri's absence.
Guardiola knows all about Luiz having already had him at the Etihad and is an admirer of the 26-year-old despite sanctioning his move to Aston Villa in 2019. The Brazilian joined Juventus last summer and reports suggest City are seeking a loan switch for their former star.
