Man City transfer latest as Omar Marmoush 'green light' given and Abdukodir Khusanov update emerges
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is expected to add to his squad in the current transfer window, and it seems that things are moving on potential deals.
After a run that saw the team pick up just one win in 13 games in all competitions, they now seem to have picked up with two wins in their last two games. The latest saw City come out as 4-1 winners over West Ham United.
That result leaves them in sixth place in the Premier League table. Concentration will be on continuing to turn the form around and climb the table between now and the end of the season.

One thing that can help with that is additions to the squad in the January transfer window. Here is a look at the latest on potential incomings and outgoings.
Omar Marmoush green light
City have been given the green light to move for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian is the club’s first priority in the January window, according to reports.
The Telegraph claim that City are ‘preparing’ an opening offer for the player and that talks between the two teams are likely to start in the next week. The 25-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 15 Bundesliga appearances so far this season and The Telegraph report the 'green light' has been given for the move.
Eintracht are said to be asking for a fee of around £50 million. They are, however, keen to keep the player until the end of the season.
James McAtee fear
German side Stuttgart are leading the race for City midfielder James McAtee, according to the Telegraph. The 22-year-old is said to be keen on a move away from the Etihad in January after becoming frustrated at a lack of regular game time.
Premier League sides Fulham, Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Brentford are all reported to be interested in a potential deal. But it is reported that Stuttgart are currently leading the rac.
It is reported that clubs hope to complete a deal for around £20-25 million. The fear for City would be a repeat of the Cole Palmer situation.
The midfielder completed a £40 million move to Chelsea in the summer of 2023. He has gone on to become one of the standout players in the Premier League.
City working on second deal
City are also working on a deal to sign Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov. They do however face competition from two Premier League rivals.
The Athletic report that City are working on a deal, but Newcastle United and Tottenham are also aware of the player and his availability. He has established himself as a key player for Lens so far this season, with him only missing two games through suspension.
