Man United could hand Victor Osimhen perfect welcome gift amid Marcus Rashford 'swap' links
Manchester United could be ready to make one of the moves of the January transfer window by bringing Victor Osimhen to Old Trafford.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils could tempt the striker, who is currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray, away from Napoli this month. This transfer would include seeing the out-of-favour Marcus Rashford go the other way and leave for Naples.
The Nigeria international would become Ruben Amorim's first singing since joining Manchester United in November. Whereas Rashford would leave the club after 20 years to join former teammate Scott McTominay in Italy.

Oshimhen has been one of Europe's deadliest strikers for the last few seasons now. Currently in Turkey, he has scored 12 times in 15 appearances and sits joint third in the league's scoring charts.
Due to United's business in the summer transfer window, they would not be able to offer Osimhen his dream No.9 shirt number. The shirt is currently occupied by Rasmus Hojland, who was given the number after Anthony Martial left the club at the end of last season.
In fact, most of the forward's career shirt numbers are taken by other players. The No.7, No.12. No.16 and No.18 shirts have all been assigned to Mason Mount, Tyrell Malacia, Amad and Casemiro respectively
There would be two shirt numbers that would be very tempting for the 26-year-old, though. First of all, Rashford's No.10 shirt, that he has held for the last seven seasons, would be available should he move in the opposite direction and join Napoli.
The shirt has been worn by the likes of Wayne Rooney and Ruud van Nistelrooy - offering Osimhen the perfect chance to follow in the footsteps of some United legends. The other option would be to continue wearing the No.45, a number that he has had at Galatasaray and Royal Charleroi SC.
The forward has proven to be prolific whilst wearing the number and an in-form Osimhen would be a real weapon for Manchester United.
