Manchester United may be about to sanction a minimum of four transfers in the final days of the January window. Ruben Amorim is yet to welcome any new signings since becoming head coach in November with no departures sealed either, despite several players being of interest to other clubs.

With United having little-to-no budget available in the winter window, sanctioning some exits will be key to not only improving the club's financial position but also allowing funds to be available for the remaining days of the current trading period and beyond that, for the summer window.

On the topic of potential exits, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro, Antony and Joshua Zirkzee are just a few players that could move on with three of those actively being pursued. Rashford is currently being targeted by Juventus and Barcelona, Real Betis are keen to sign Antony on loan while Chelsea want Garnacho.

Despite the fact the latter duo appear closer to exits, Rashford was the only one left out of United's squad against Rangers. Garnacho played the full 90 minutes and looked bright with the Blues now expected to submit their opening bid. Napoli have already seen an offer for the Argentine turned down this month.

United are demanding in the region of £60million to sanction Garnacho's exit, though the club nor player are actively pushing for the move to be sealed.

Elsewhere, Antony's temporary exit has moved quickly after the 2-1 win against Rangers, in which he was an unused substitute, with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano revealing he will travel to Spain on Friday evening with Betis set to cover a large portion of his wages.

Rashford's situation remains uncertain however, with finance issues the main stumbling block preventing some of Europe's biggest clubs from taking him on a short-term loan. Even if the 27-year-old remains at Old Trafford, United look set to have significant funds at their disposal for possibly one signing and that looks to have been decided.

Lecce wing-back Patrick Dorgu has been heavily linked to United and with exits moving quickly, United are now said to have submitted an offer in the region of £25million (€30m). Talks are said to be taking place over a move despite the fact the Italian club have made it clear they do not want to sell.

If United can sell Garnacho to Chelsea, there should be absolutely no issues in getting a deal for Dorgu over the line. Amorim then faces a big decision on what to do with Rashford having lost two attacking options in Garnacho and Antony.

If their stance remains the same and one of Barcelona or Juventus find a way to sign him, that would be for transfer moves sanctioned by United.
