Man United 'ready' to repeat Jadon Sancho transfer amid Chelsea interest and Rashford exit
Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a move for Borussia Dortmund youngster Jamie Gittens.
The 20-year-old began his career in the Reading academy before moving to Manchester City in 2018. Two years later, Dortmund snapped up Gittens for a nominal fee and have been beaming ever since.
The winger broke into the first team during the 2022/23 season and found his feet almost immediately. However, he has caught the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe this campaign having bagged 11 goals and five assists in just 26 appearances for the German club.

Gittens' career path is almost identical to that of Jadon Sancho who United decided to purchase a year after the 20-year-old chose to move to Germany. Despite how things turned out with Sancho for the Reds, it appears that United are not put off the idea of moving for Gittens.
According to Sky Sport Germany, the Reds have a 'serious interest' in Gittens with Sancho, Marcus Rashford and potentially Antony not expected to be at the club next season. Alejandro Garnacho has also been linked with the exit door but MEN Sport understands that he is not actively pursuing a departure from Old Trafford.
Should United want to snap up Gittens they may have to make their move sharpish. It is believed Bayern Munich have already held talks with Gittens' representatives about a transfer at the end of the season but understandably Dortmund would be keen for him not to leave to another Bundesliga rival.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur also have an interest in the left-sided winger but only Bayern appear to have formalised their interest at this stage.
