Man Utd injury latest and possible return dates including Mason Mount as 3 could miss Liverpool
Manchester United has lost six of its last eight matches under new head coach Ruben Amorim and heads to Liverpool this weekend a whopping 23 points behind the Premier League leader having played a game more.
While Amorim will need a lot of time to turn things around and implement his ideas, he does have a nearly full roster of players to choose from at the moment with Manchester United not missing that many players through injury. Matthijs de Ligt returned from injury for the 2-0 defeat against Newcastle United last weekend, and only three players are currently sidelined.
Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw — no strangers to the treatment table — are all set to miss the trip to Liverpool. Mount, in particular, has been a favorite of Amorim's so far but the former Chelsea playmaker has suffered a setback in recent weeks when he limped off during the Manchester derby.

Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte both served a one-match suspension during the Newcastle game — the former for being sent off against Wolves for two bookable offenses, and the latter for reaching five Premier League yellow cards — but they are now back available for selection again. Both are likely to start against Liverpool.
Liverpool.com says: Amorim has a huge task on his hands to turn things around at Old Trafford. So far, he appears to have made things worse rather than better and it will be up to Liverpool to show that again at Anfield this weekend.
The Reds still owe Manchester United on after the results between the teams last season. Jurgen Klopp somehow didn't beat Erik ten Hag at three attempts, including the goalless draw on Merseyside around a year ago. Liverpool can't afford for there to be a repeat of such frustrations this time around.
