Manchester United could be without five players vs Wolves amid Marcus Rashford decision
Ruben Amorim could be without several Manchester United stars for the Boxing Day clash against Wolves, while also having his fingers crossed for a late selection boost.
United return to Premier League action for their festive fixture against Wolves as they travel to Molineux. Amorim and his team go into that match-up on the back of a disappointing home defeat to AFC Bournemouth in their final game before Christmas.
Amorim has enjoyed mixed results since being appointed as United head coach last month, and will now be looking to end a run of back-to-back defeats after losing to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup last week. United are 13th in the Premier League table - but could find themselves one place lower by kick-off if West Ham beat Southampton at 3pm on Boxing Day.

The first half of the season has seen United deal with regular injury concerns with several key players having spells on the side-lines. That reality is not expected to change when United make the trip to the West Midlands.
Marcus Rashford has not featured in any of United's last three matches in all competitions, which has led to plenty of noise and speculation on his future. Amorim confirmed this week that Rashford is competing for a return to his matchday squad, amid indications that an Old Trafford exit may be on the cards following that bombshell interview.
"Yeah, it's my decision. He [Rashford] wants to play, he's trying," Amorim told reporters. "That's my decision. Only my decision. I spoke with a lot of players individually, during training, so I try to do things and I am doing things my way and is the only way I know. If I don't do that, I will lose myself, and I will not lose myself, I know what I am doing."
He went on: "When I feel that is the right moment, I will change something. Until then, I will continue to think what is best for the team. I speak with him every day, not about the interview, about the performance."
On the injury front, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Victor Lindelof all remain side-lined for United, and will not be available to face Wolves. Matthijs de Ligt also remains a doubt for United after missing the defeats to Tottenham and Bournemouth due to illness.
