Manchester United host Rangers in the Europa League tonight as they eye automatic qualification for the knockout stages.

Ruben Amorim's side could qualify for the next round and avoid a two-legged playoff tie if they win and other results go their way this week. United are unbeaten in Europe this season with three wins and three draws so far.

And several Reds players have hinted they will feature in Thursday's match. Casemiro and Diogo Dalot are among the United players who have posted pre-match graphics on their Instagram stories, hinting that they may start against Philippe Clement's side.

Historically, players who share such graphics have tended to be in the starting XI come kick-off, or at the very least involved in some capacity. If Casemiro does start, it would represent a change in United's midfield with Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo the preferred partnership in recent matches.

Addressing United's form this season at his pre-match press conference, Amorim said: "The most important thing is to think we can improve right away in the next match.

"Imagine tomorrow we don't suffer a goal at the start, we score and play well, it will change the environment here and everything. We are going to suffer and for me, that was really clear. It's getting really hard."

On the Reds' poor form at Old Trafford, having lost four of their last five games at home, he added: "I think that is clear. I could say different things and say no, no, but we are more nervous playing at home than away.

"We lost four games in five, so it's getting harder, but we can improve. We need the first thing in my mind, they cannot score. We need to score the first goal."
