How Manchester United should line up vs Arsenal in FA Cup fixture
Manchester United will take on Arsenal in the FA Cup third round this afternoon.
United were defeated 2-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates in the Premier League last month, conceding twice from corners in the second half after defending well in the first 45 minutes. Defending set-pieces has been a problem for Ruben Amorim to address and he will be working on the training ground at Carrington this week to ensure history doesn't repeat itself.
Arsenal are the most dangerous team from set-piece scenarios in the top flight and United must show defensive discipline if they want to progress to the next round. So here are how our writers think United should line up.

Bayindir is starting but he should not be. He cost United in the League Cup, conceding directly from a corner. And Arsenal are just about the best team anyone has ever seen at corners.
Matthijs de Ligt was at the scene of the crimes at Anfield but his height would be an advantage. United do need to integrate Leny Yoro into a regular starter, though. Beyond that, there should be no changes after the best performance of the season at Anfield.

Amorim still hasn't picked an unchanged team since his appointment and it seemed logical to do that for the first time against Arsenal but Bayindir will start between the sticks.
That is an interesting choice from Amorim given Bayindir was essentially responsible for United crashing out of the Carabao Cup and the No.2 'keeper will have to vindicate the faith shown in him. United were excellent against Liverpool last weekend and everyone else should retain their starting roles.

Amorim will be making at least one change at the Emirates, drafting Bayindir in for Andre Onana, but aside from that he should resist any temptation to tinker.
United were excellent at Anfield last Sunday and there aren't any obvious changes the Portuguese head coach should be looking to make. As uninspiring as Bayindir's performance was against Tottenham Hotspur last month, Amorim's decision to give him another go is understandable given how little rest Onana has had this season. The changes should stop there, though.
