Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

After two seasons with the Italian giants, there seems to be speculation over the 23-year-old's long-term future. Despite being under contract until the summer of 2027, reports suggest he could leave the club at the end of the season.

According to Sport Mediaset (via Sport), Napoli would be 'ready' to sell Kvaratskhelia in the summer if he does not sign a new contract. It's said that United are interested in 'tempting' the winger with a five-year contract worth €8million (£7m) per season in a £35m package.

That offer is reportedly in line with the one the player received from Paris Saint-Germain, offering him €10m (£8m). Barcelona are also said to be among the interested teams though are 'reluctant' to start negotiations as Napoli have not set a fixed price on Kvaratskhelia.

Elsewhere, United are reportedly 'monitoring' Matheus Cunha's development at Wolves and could make a swoop for him in the 'near future.' However, the Reds aren't alone in their pursuit of the Brazilian attacker, with TBR Football reporting that Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Napoli are all admirers, too.

The report adds that Wolves are 'aware' of the growing interest in the 25-year-old who can play in a number of positions - centre-forward, central attacking midfielder and the left wing. United have been following the player since his days at Atletico Madrid but ultimately lost his services to Wolves in 2023.

Spanish outlet Fichajes has suggested United could try to sign the Brazilian in January but will face competition from Tottenham who are also tipped to complete a move in the new year. Addressing the transfer links, Cunha previously said: "You know it’s a real honour to have your name linked to Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"But I’m happy at Wolves. If I’m lucky, I'll play another good season, but the window is open, you never know."
