Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals on Thursday evening.

Ruben Amorim has the chance to guide his side into the semi-finals of a competition United won two seasons ago, as he looks to carry on the positive momentum of Sunday's dramatic derby win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Amorim left Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of his squad on Sunday. The latter has travelled with the squad to London but there was no sign of Rashford.

Rashford revealed in an interview on Tuesday evening that he is keen to explore a new challenge away from United. In Wednesday's pre-match press conference, Amorim insisted Rashford remains part of his plans and believes getting the best out of the 27-year-old can only bolster United's prospects this term.

Amorim has been known to tinker his side but is expected to go strong with his starting line-up, with United just two wins away from another Wembley final.

Andre Onana will remain in goal and while Amorim has the option to recall Leny Yoro to the starting XI, the back three of Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez should start again.

Noussair Mazraoui has travelled with the squad but did pick up a slight injury against City, so Diogo Dalot should switch to right wing-back and Tyrell Malacia can come into the side on the other flank.

Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte are expected to remain in the centre of midfield, while the front three of Amad, Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund almost pick themselves at the moment.
