Manchester United recall striker from loan spell early
Manchester United have recalled striker Joe Hugill from Wigan Athletic.
Hugill, 21, joined Wigan on a season-long loan in July and scored three goals in 13 games in League One.
United plan to send Hugill back out on loan this month and he may have to consider dropping down to a League Two side.

Hugill headed out on loan to League One Burton Albion last year and he scored on his debut but did not register in his next 17 appearances for the Brewers.
United signed Hugill from Sunderland's academy in 2020 and he was part of the FA Youth Cup-winning squad in 2022.
Hugill's academy teammates, Radek Vitek, Rhys Bennett and Sonny Aljofree, remain on loan at FC Blau-Weiss Linz, Fleetwood Town and Accrington Stanley respectively.
