Manchester United squad vs Arsenal confirmed as Marcus Rashford selection hint dropped
Marcus Rashford was not among the Manchester United players pictured leaving for the weekend FA Cup tie with Arsenal suggesting the wantaway forward will again be absent from the squad.
Boss Ruben Amorim said the England international was available for selection having missed the Premier League draw with Liverpool through illness. But the 27-year-old was not among the players leaving Manchester on Saturday for the journey to London.
Rashford has featured sparsely under Amorim and has spoken of his desire to seek a new challenge with his future set to be away from Old Trafford.

United travel to Arsenal with a strong squad and Amorim is expected to resist the temptation to tinker too much with his XI against the Gunners as he seeks to find a first win in five games. Altay Bayindir will start in goal while young midfielder Toby Collyer has travelled but changes are set to be kept to a minimum.
Speaking ahead of the game on whether he would rotate, Amorim said: "I think we rotated more in that part when we were trying to find out what kind of players we have. Players have returned from injury and now we are rotating less.
"Now we have had time to train a little bit more, I expect my team to understand a little bit better, the game. I don't rotate because I want to rotate; I am not different from other coaches.
"At this moment, I am living day by day. We had one week without a game. It does not make sense for me to rest players now and play both games really near. We have to win and follow the last performance.
"We are in a difficult moment. We are improving, we will put out the best team to try to win. I will choose the best team to win. We want to win the cup. Sometimes it is better to win this type of game and have less time to rest. We just to win this game and then we will think about the next."
United are the cup holders having beaten Manchester City in last season's final and the competition again represents a route to success this term amid Premier League struggles. United remain without injured quartet Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, Johnny Evans and Victor Lindelof.
