Manchester United told how to complete transfer for player who nearly shocked Old Trafford
Southampton are not expected to listen to offers of lower than £55million for reported Manchester United target Tyler Dibling this month. The 18-year-old has been a shining light in a struggling Saints side this season, emerging as one of the most talented young wingers in the Premier League.
Dibling has scored four goals and added two assists in 24 appearances this season, while his performances have attracted attention from some of England's biggest clubs. Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham and United are among those that are said to hold an interest in signing the 2006-born sensation.
However, Southampton want to keep hold of Dibling until this summer at least - according to reports from Sky Sports. The England Under-21s international is an important part of Ivan Juric's side as they attempt to perform a miracle and stay in the Premier League with Saints 10 points off safety.

Should Southampton receive a bid, they will not entertain any offers that are lower than £55million this month. They rate Dibling that high and are hoping it can put off potential suitors in the January transfer window, having received "enquiries" and willingness from clubs to pay up to £40million for his services.
The situation might change this summer - as it did for the likes of Romeo Lavia, Tino Livramento and James Ward-Prowse in 2023 - if Southampton are relegated. At this point, it's looking increasingly likely that Saints are going to drop down to the Championship, which could make a summer switch feasible.
Last month, it was reported that United had bid £21million for Dibling, an offer that former Southampton manager Russell Martin laughed off. "I'm not sure you’ll get his left foot for that," Martin told reporters.
"We have offered him a contract, a really good contract for someone his age. At the minute, I don't think his agent agrees, so that's where we're at. I think Tyler wants it done and I think Tyler's parents want it done so we'll see how long that takes. There's an option.
"We can extend. I don't think we want to do that - we want to reward Tyler for his performances. I've spoken to Tyler's mum and dad about it, I've spoken to Tyler, but then I'm not involved in any of the negotiations - that's down to Phil [Parsons, chief executive] and the gang, the owners and Tyler's agent - and that's where it gets tricky."
Dibling last featured for Southampton against United at Old Trafford on Thursday night. He was part of the Saints team that almost shocked Ruben Amorim's side and led up to the 82nd minute before then collapsing. During that game, Dibling impressed and looked a real threat on that right-hand side.
