Manchester United are, reportedly, looking to repeat a deal that saw Chido Obi-Martin move from Arsenal to Old Trafford, with the club "making contact" with another one of Arsenal's young players.

Seventeen-year-old Obi-Martin completed a switch to United in October just a few months after leaving Arsenal's youth set-up. He had caught the eye in the Gunners' Academy after joining from Copenhagen in 2022, even scoring 10 goals against Liverpool in one match.

The teenager has continued to impress with United; his latest appearance saw him score a brace in the FA Youth Cup clash against Preston North End last week. It has been reported that Ruben Amorim has been keeping a close eye on his development with the player being called up to train with the first-team squad.

The latest reports reckon that the club are now eyeing up a second youngster from Arsenal. According to Fabrizio Romano, United have "made contact" with Arsenal for Ayden Heaven with the club also leading the race for the 18-year-old and his sought-after signature, at least in European circles.

They do, however, face competition from German side Eintracht Frankfurt and Catalan giants Barcelona, who are both said to have also made approaches. Arsenal are also reported to have offered a new deal to the centre-back, with him out of contract at the end of the season.

Heaven made his first-team debut for Arsenal earlier this season - coming on for the final 10 minutes during the club's 3-0 Carabao Cup fourth round win against Preston back in October. He has been a regular for Arsenal's development side this season, playing at both centre-back and left-back and has been an unused substitute in the Premier League on three occasions.
