Man United vs Nottingham Forest score predicted
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict United could set up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez; Amad, Casemiro, Mainoo, Dalot; Fernandes, Zirkzee; Rashford.
We predict that Forest could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Yates, Dominguez; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood.
Forest started strongly at Old Trafford, and 16 minutes in they took a deserved lead when Morgan Gibbs-White tapped home following a great save from Andre Onana. United were poor in the opening stages, but it didn't take long for them to eventually find their stride and grab an equaliser.
As United pressed the Forest backline, Marcus Rashford caught Murillo in possession as the last man, stealing the ball off the defender before running through on goal. One-on-one, Rashford's powerful strike beat the 'keeper with ease.
Amazingly, the exact same happened again minutes after Rashdord's goal with Joshua Zirkzee stealing the ball off Murillo this time, but the same finish wasn't there, with the Dutchman being denied by Matz Sels. A tense affair played out in the second half, but with seven minutes to go, Amorim's side scored again to complete the turnaround.
Rashford dropped deep to receive the ball from Diogo Dalot, and the Englishman used his pace to power forward, skipping past two defenders before flicking the ball to Kobbie Mainoo. The midfielder shifted the ball onto his right foot before taking aim, and his curling effort evaded the 'keeper and flew into the top corner to secure a big three points for Amorim's side.
