Manchester United vs Rangers simulated to predict big Europa League clash
Manchester United can take a big step towards automatic qualification for the Europa League knockout stages when they take on Rangers at Old Trafford later today.
Despite United suffering another Premier League defeat on the weekend which left them 13th in the league table, Ruben Amorim's side hasn't been that bad in the Europa League, with United one of five teams yet to lose a game in the League Phase of the competition. It's been six weeks since United's last Europa League outing, and victory against Rangers later today would be huge in Amorim's hunt for a top-eight League Phase finish.
Tonight's meeting between United and Rangers will be the first time the two sides have met since 2010, with United having never lost to the Scottish side. There are no new injury concerns for United, with Jonny Evans, Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof and Mason Mount the only confirmed absentees.

Man United vs Rangers score predicted
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that United could set up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Onana; De Ligt, Maguire, Martinez; Mazraoui, Ugarte, Mainoo, Dalot; Amad, Fernandes; Zirkzee.
We predict that Rangers could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Kelly; Tavernier, Propper, Nsiala, Jefte; Barron, Raskin; Cerny, Bajrami, Hagi; Igamane.
Despite United controlling possession in the opening 30 minutes of the game, it was the visitors who looked most dangerous, with Rangers hitting the woodwork three times in the first half, with their game plan of hitting Amorim's side on the break working a treat. But, with the first goal never arriving for the Scottish side, their game plan had to change once they went a goal behind.
Bruno Fernandes picked up possession on the left before urgently cutting inside as he looked for passing options. The United captain spotted Amad's run at the far post, and a lofted pass fell straight to the feet of the winger who took the ball in his stride before firing past the 'keeper into the far corner.
Just before half-time, United managed to grab a crucial second when Joshua Zirkzee tapped home Diogo Dalot's driven cross into the box, finishing off a well-worked passing move by Amorim's side. United were cruising, and 72 minutes in, they grabbed a third to put the game to bed.
Zirkzee was proving a handful for Rangers, with the striker beating his defender with ease before stinging the gloves of the 'keeper to force a corner. From the resulting set-piece, Matthijs de Ligt peeled away from his marker to meet the cross, heading powerfully past the 'keeper to make it 3-0.
Andre Onana was called into action multiple times in the final few minutes of the game as Rangers searched for a consolation goal, with the 'keeper making some impressive saves to maintain the clean sheet in an impressive win.
