Analyst Eduardo Rosalino will join Ruben Amorim's new-look backroom team at Manchester United as soon as his visa is approved.

The 39-year-old is subject to a different visa process than the one Amorim and his team of coaches went through last week. United are still waiting for the paperwork to be signed off before Rosalino can begin work at the club.

Rosalino has a UEFA B coaching licence and studied at the Lusofana University in Lisbon and was head coach at the Sporting Alges school for four years, before taking a job at Sporting.

He was match analyst for Sporting B in 2013/14 before being promoted to head of match analysis for the first team, a position he held for more than a decade before following Amorim to United.

The appointment of Rosalino meant the departure of Erik ten Hag's match analyst Pieter Borel, who left the club last week along with Ruud van Nistelrooy, Rene Hake and Jelle ten Rouwelaar.

Amorim will take training for the first time on Monday after his visa was approved. Visas have also been approved for assistant Carlos Fernandes, first-team coach Emanuel Ferro, first-team goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital and sports scientist Paulo Barreira. United are still waiting on approval for first-team coach Adelio Candido.
