Manchester United's Fans' Footballer of the Year winner crowned - it shows Ruben Amorim's impact
Amad Diallo has been crowned Manchester United's Fans' Footballer of the Year, beating off the likes of Andre Onana, who finished fifth in the national award, Alejandro Garnacho and Diogo Dalot to win the award.
Undoubtedly United's most improved player this year, Amad won the vote as the best of the entire 2024. He has gone from strength to strength over the duration of this calendar year, finally establishing himself as a first-team regular.
He has the capacity to excite, the fans love him and he has scored some important goals. His performance in the comeback derby win at City will live long in the memory of United fans, as well as that late FA Cup winner against Liverpool.

Amad was a player who at the start of the calendar year United were considering selling to raise funds. Having starred on loan at Sunderland in the 2022/23 season, opportunities had been limited on his return to United.
But he slowly began to prove his worth, and his winner against Liverpool lifted him to new heights in the eyes of United supporters.
But this season he has moved to another level, establishing himself as a more regular starter. Amad has five goals and eight assists to his name this season and has had 10 direct goal involvements in his last 10 games.
That impact has coincided with Ruben Amorim's arrival at the club and the Ivorian international has quickly established himself as one of Amorim's most important players. Such has been his impact, that United were not unduly worried to head into the Manchester derby last weekend without Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford.
Amad won the penalty for the equalising goal, before grabbing the winner himself in stoppage time to seal a 2-1 win. Rashford has since publicly announced he wants a fresh challenge away from United.
It means Amad heads into 2025 as one of United's crown jewels and a player that Amorim firmly sees as one to spearhead his United revolution. The future is exciting for the 22-year-old. This award is just the start.
