Manning vs. Manning Is Back! Peyton and Eli Will Once Again Face Off as Pro Bowl 2025 Coaches
“I love everything about the Pro Bowl Games. And getting to hear Peyton complain about losing every year makes it even better," Eli said
The Manning brothers are facing each other once again as the coaches for the 2025 Pro Bowl — and unsurprisingly, they're already trash talking.
Peyton and Eli’s return is a delight for fans of “their ongoing sibling rivalry in what’s become a highlight of the Pro Bowl Games,” the NFL said in a release. The retired NFL legends are ready to take each other down in their quest for the win.
“The Pro Bowl Games are all about having fun,” Peyton, 48, said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “It’s always unpredictable, and we get to bring fans into the action and see the NFL’s biggest names compete. And the best part about this year’s games is knowing that my AFC team is going to end Eli’s two-year run of luck with the NFC.”

Meanwhile, Eli, 43, is ready to beat his brother for the third time, saying via statement, “I love everything about the Pro Bowl Games. And getting to hear Peyton complain about losing every year makes it even better.”
Peter O’Reilly, executive vice president, club business, international and league events at the NFL, is also excited to see what the Manning brothers have in store for this year’s match-up.
“We are thrilled the Mannings are returning as coaches to renew their rivalry. Peyton and Eli have been in the lab concocting some amazing new skills competitions that we’ll reveal soon,” O’Reilly said.
Fan voting to determine the NFC and AFC team rosters opens on Nov. 25, the NFL said. The 88 selected team members will “go head-to-head in fan-favorite competitions, face-off in an epic flag football game, and enjoy a variety of family friendly activities, giveaways, and interactive experiences,” the league said.
