Marcus Rashford drops fresh Manchester United transfer statement amid Arsenal link
Marcus Rashford has launched a defence against reports surrounding a sensational would-be January transfer to Paris Saint-Germain as he faces an uncertain future at Manchester United.
The 27-year-old returned to Ruben Amorim's squad for the first time in four matches, three in the Premier League, after his inclusion in their group which suffered defeat to Newcastle United. Rashford was an unused substitute as two first-half goals for the Magpies was enough to continue their improved run.
Rashford's future has been under scrutiny since the summer when Arsenal were linked with a surprise move for the England international. United were open to selling the attacker, but no offers were forthcoming and he remained as a selection option for Erik ten Hag, before he was replaced by the Portuguese.

With the January transfer window now open, possible destinations are already being churned out by the transfer rumour mill. On Wednesday, hours after it opened, Rashford was forced to release a statement, slamming reports over talks with a new agency - the same one which landed Gareth Bale's move to Real Madrid.
"Been a lot of false stories written over (the) past few weeks, but guys, this is getting ridiculous - never met with any agency and don't have any plans too...," Rashford responded.
And last month, the attacker also revealed that he's "ready for a new challenge" - after being left out of the squad for the Manchester derby against Manchester City.
"For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps," he said. "When I leave it's going to be; 'No hard feelings'. If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse.
"I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave, then I'll make a statement and it will be from me."
