Whether Marcus Rashford leaves Manchester United this month, remains to be seen.

But until then, he will continue to dominate headlines as rumours have stepped up since he admitted being ready for 'a new challenge' last month. The Manchester Evening News have already reported that he has personally turned down offers up to £35million a year to play in Saudi Arabia.

A host of clubs in Italy including Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan are interested in the attacker while Borussia Dortmund are admirers. His brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard, has flown out to conduct initial talks over a possible switch to the San Siro.

Here, MEN Sport has taken a look at the latest surrounding Rashford.

AC Milan stance

A new report by The Times claims Milan are 'expected to tell' United that they will only pay half of Rashford's wages if a loan move is agreed. This means Milan would only pay £162,500 of his £325,000-a-week wages.

However, United are keen to get the 27-year-old off the bill and 'will insist' that the club he is loaned to must cover the majority of his wages. With that said, their chances of offloading Rashford will put a lot of clubs off.

If the Reds lower their demands, the money they receive from the loan would decrease. It's worth noting that Milan's highest earner is former Chelsea star Alvaro Morata who is on a reported £150,000-a-week.

Como transfer truth

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sports has claimed that Como are the latest club to join the race for Rashford. It's said the Italian side led by Cesc Fabregas would have 'no problem' meeting the financial demands set by United.

However, that rumour has been dismissed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. He claims sources close to Rashford have played down reports linking him with the Serie A side.

A move to southern Italy is not thought to be 'an option under consideration' for the England international.

Transfer talks

In addition to Milan, Romano adds that talks were also held with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund and more are expected to 'follow.'

Elsewhere, the Daily Mail state Rashford is also wanted by Tottenham on loan.

Man United stance

With Ruben Amorim looking to reinforce his squad, the only way that can be achieved is by selling some of the present squad.

Rashford's future claim

Speaking about his future last month, Rashford said: "For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it's going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That's me as a person.

"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me."

It's been said the forward is determined to remain in Europe and Barcelona is his dream destination. However, a move to the Catalan giants appears unlikely due to their financial troubles.
