Marcus Rashford Man United transfer stance as Juventus and Barcelona plan emerges
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is 'open' to joining Juventus on loan this month. The 27-year-old has dominated transfer talk throughout January after signalling his desire to leave United in December.
After he was left out of the squad to face Manchester City, Rashford told journalist Henry Winter that he was 'ready for a new challenge and the next steps', hinting at a move away from Old Trafford. The England international has since not played a single minute of first-team football for Ruben Amorim's side.
He was not part of the 23-man United contingent to face Rangers on Thursday and that has increased speculation that is going to be on the move before the February 3 deadline. And now, according to The Independent, it has been reported Juventus are the only club seen as potentially completing a loan deal this January.

It's added that Rashford 'would be open to that', as he waits for his first-choice destination: Barcelona. The United forward is eyeing up a permanent summer move to the Catalan side and is willing to play his football for the rest of the season with Thiago Motta's Juventus, who are unbeaten in Serie A so far this term.
However, despite not losing a single league game, Juventus sit down in fifth having won just eight and drawn 13 of their 21 fixtures. They remain in the Champions League and have put themselves in a strong position to progress to the last 16 of Europe's club competition. The Old Lady are also still in the Coppa Italia.
Amorim was asked about Rashford's future in his pre-Fulham press conference and hinted that he could be on the move. "I don’t know, I really don't know," the Portuguese told reporters. "Guys, it's 10 days. We will see in the end of the window what happened. And then we will talk about that in the moment."
Alejandro Garnacho's future is also a major talking point this month. The Argentine could leave United before the end of the window with Napoli and Chelsea interested.
The Telegraph claimed on Thursday that Enzo Maresca's Blues are planning their first bid to sign the 20-year-old. Napoli are expected to be priced out of a move for Garnacho after their latest £42million bid was rejected.
It's continued that United are ready to play hardball over the future of Garnacho, who they value at more than £50m. Amorim's men are also insistent that they will not consider offers involving players they do not want moving in the opposite direction. Joao Felix and Ben Chilwell are among those that have been tipped to make the switch from west London to Manchester, as both players search for regular game time.
