Marcus Rashford Manchester United transfer point made as fresh Joshua Zirkzee exit claim emerges
Manchester United return to action on Sunday afternoon away at Liverpool as they look to avoid a fifth straight defeat.
United's poor performances on the pitch will have heightened Ruben Amorim's desire to bolster his squad, with it evident that he needs new additions. Monday's defeat to Newcastle has left United languishing in 14th place in the Premier League table.
Funds are expected to be tight in January, but United have extended Harry Maguire's tenure at the club by triggering a contract clause. Meanwhile, the potential departure of Marcus Rashford continues to make headlines, with the Reds academy graduate being linked with Paris Saint Germain and Saudi Pro League clubs.

United will be hoping to get some of their underperforming stars out of Old Trafford in order to fund new signings in Janaury and the summer. Below are some of the latest headlines surrounding the Reds.
Rashford point
Former Manchester United defender, Wes Brown, wants Marcus Rashford to stay at Manchester United.
“Everything he does is so highly publicised; these things happen at all clubs, but people care more because he is a local boy and is always in the limelight," Brown told The Sports Daily.
“I think the main thing for Marcus is just to get his head down and regardless of what happens in the future, get back to playing at his best," Brown added. "I think United need him in the team and playing well, so hopefully the situation resolves itself."
Isaac Seelochan of The Manchester Evening News says: "Rashford's days at United feel numbered despite what Brown has said. Selling him would be a huge boost for the Reds' PSR position, but that looks a remote possibility right now. A January loan move may be best for all parties at this stage."
Zirkzee exit claim
Joshua Zirkzee continues to be linked with a move to Juventus. The latest reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that United are open to Zirkzee’s departure but are seeking guarantees, while Juventus are pushing for a loan deal.
It is said that Zirkzee is seen as an ideal fit for Thiago Motta’s system, which favours a centre-forward with playmaking abilities. It is claimed that Juventus have already reached a preliminary agreement with Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, but the main hurdle is the type of transfer.
Isaac Seelochan of The Manchester Evening News says: "Like Rashford, it's hard to see Zirkzee having a long-term future at Old Trafford. Much to United's relief, it would appear that Juventus could be a clear exit route for the Dutch striker in January or the summer."
