Marcus Rashford spotted after major Man United decision and transfer admission
Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford is at Old Trafford ahead of tonight's Premier League clash with Southampton.
Rashford has not been named in the matchday squad that faces the Saints this evening having missed the previous two matches due to illness. Since the Manchester City victory, the 27-year-old has only made one matchday squad.
Shortly after missing the City game, Rashford admitted that he was ready to seek a new challenge away from Old Trafford. Since then, he has only made one squad for United and that was as an unused substitute in the defeat to Newcastle.

It was unclear whether Rashford was going to be at Old Trafford this evening having not been spotted entering the stadium with the rest of the squad at 4:15pm. However, in the build-up to tonight's match against Southampton, TNT Sports' cameras crossed to live shots of Rashford in his United arrival gear in the tunnel.
While it was not referenced by the panel, the shot lingered over Rashford who was seen signing autographs of young United supporters. Then the camera switched to co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe arriving through the tunnel at Old Trafford alongside Sir Dave Brailsford to watch the game from the directors' box.
The latest rumours surrounding Rashford suggest that Borussia Dortmund are now showing intent to sign the winger after losing last Friday to Bayer Leverkusen. However, AC Milan remain a key contender too with their advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic having reportedly vouched for Rashford at the San Siro.
It is currently unclear if United would prefer a loan or permanent deal for Rashford in the January transfer window.
