Marcus Rashford transfer latest as Arsenal icon gives Man United dream January scenario
Manchester United have, reportedly, found a club willing to fully finance a deal to sign Marcus Rashford.
Rashford, 27, has already turned down three offers worth up to £35million-per-year from Saudi Pro League clubs, while a move to teams in Turkey is a non-starter. Italy appears to be an acceptable potential destination, though, with the player's agent and brother, Dwaine Maynard, in the country this week to discuss a possible loan transfer with Serie A giants AC Milan.
However, they are reputedly only willing to pay half of the star's reported £325,000 weekly wages. United want more of that salary covered - plus a loan fee - such as the one rising to £6.3million they agreed upon when Jadon Sancho returned to Borussia Dortmund.

That switch also saw the Bundesliga club covering the majority of his £300,000-per-week wages, reportedly two-thirds. Dortmund are again showing interest in doing United a favour this month, as are Milan's rivals Juventus and Napoli, plus multiple Premier League clubs.
However, a fourth Serie A team has reputedly entered the race. Reports from Sky Sports Italy reckon Como are showing an interest in Rashford, and the suggestion is that they could cover the player's salary, with United not being open to contributing to it.
His former teammate Raphael Varane joined the club as a free agent last summer, and has since retired, but is now a board member. Rashford's former England teammate Dele Alli is also training with the team, after leaving Everton late last year.
Cesc Fabregas is the head coach and also a minority shareholder in the club alongside Thierry Henry. Indonesia's richest people, Robert Budi Hartono and Michael Bambang Hartono are the club's majority owners through their company PT Djarum. The pair have a combined net worth in excess of £40billion - making those two the 71st and 76th wealthiest people in the world respectively.
