Marcus Rashford transfer latest as Barcelona reach 'financial agreement' amid Man United update
Barcelona are close to reaching a 'financial agreement' that could impact their pursuit of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
Rashford's future at United has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months. The 27-year-old has not featured in any of United's last nine matches but was spotted in training on Wednesday in the build-up to the Europa League clash against Rangers.
It was in Europe when Rashford last made an appearance for United, which came against Viktoria Plzen on December 12. Reports in recent weeks have claimed that several clubs, including Barcelona, may be interested in signing Rashford on loan before the January transfer window closes.

The Manchester Evening News reported earlier this week that Rashford has been taking part in extra training sessions as he aims to return to Ruben Amorim's starting line-up. The update came after Rashford gave an interview where he outlined a desire for a 'new challenge' back in December.
Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Rashford's links to Barcelona, with a deal on the verge of completion that could affect the United star's future. The La Liga club are on the verge of announcing a contract extension for Ronald Araujo.
Romano has explained on his YouTube channel that a 'financial agreement' has been reached to hand Araujo a new deal at Barca. As a result, Romano goes on to say how the La Liga giants are still in the race to sign Rashford.
"Something else to say on Barcelona is that yesterday, on Tuesday, the agents of Marcus Rashford met with Barcelona," said Romano.
"The director, Deco, was there because it was in Lisbon for a face-to-face meeting. It was quite a positive meeting because Rashford would like to go to Barcelona.
"I always told you that Spain is the biggest desire of the player. On the other side, Barcelona are quite open to signing Marcus Rashford.
"Financial Fair Play, to make it happen, they need space on the financial point of view. So Eric Garcia, interest from Como [and a] €7million (£5.9million) bid. Interest from Girona.
"And also the situation of Ansu Fati - stays, leaves, loan, permanent - what the player wants to do. Because Ansu Fati, as of today, is still not giving the green light to an exit.
"In case there will be some outgoings, Marcus Rashford and Barcelona will be one to watch."
