Marko Lazetic to Aberdeen deal 'collapses' with clubs 'exploring summer move'
Aberdeen's efforts to sign AC Milan striker Marko Lazetic on loan have reportedly collapsed ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.
With the window set to slam shut tomorrow night, the Dons are looking to get some last-minute deals over the line, with a forward and a centre-back among the priority positions.
Reports had linked Aberdeen with the Serbian striker, who is currently on loan at FK TSC Backa Topola but could have been recalled for a move to Pittodrie if a deal was struck.

However, Sky Sports are now reporting that the deal is off, with the Dons' attempts to secure a loan with an option to buy 'now unlikely.'
It is understood the clubs are said to be exploring a potential move for next summer, but the Reds are currently still pursuing some late deals to bolster the squad.

Saturday's defeat to Hibs leaves Jimmy Thelin's men fourth in the Premiership table and winless in 14 league games - the only positive of the weekend being Dundee United's defeat to Kilmarnock.
Aberdeen are looking to secure European football next term but are at risk of sliding further down the table unless results start going in their favour, with a trip to Dundee up next following a Scottish Cup clash with Dunfermline.

So far this window Thelin has made several big additions to his squad, with centre-back duo Kristers Tobers and Alfie Dorrington brought in from Grasshoppers and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
Alexander Jensen's arrival has bolstered the full-back department, while Jeppe Okkels has arrived on loan from Preston North End to boost the forward ranks.
