Marshall Munetsi to Wolves transfer latest as deadline day deal 'close' on one condition
Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to strengthen their squad in the final hours of the January transfer window, as they hope to move further away from the Premier League relegation zone.
Vitor Pereira’s men were given a big boost in their hopes of survival thanks to a 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday evening. Goals from Jean Ricner-Bellegarde and Matheus Cunha moved Wolves back above Leicester City and into 17th place.
Wolves have been trying to add to their squad over the winter window. Emmanuel Agbadou is the only new arrival of the window so far, but the club have been linked with a deadline day move for Marshall Munetsi, here is the latest on the potential signing

Deal 'close'
Late on Sunday night, the Telegraph reports that a deal with Reims for the midfielder was ‘close’. The 28-year-old has been a regular for the French side since joining them from Orlando Pirates.
So far this season, he has scored four goals and provided two assists in 21 games in all competitions.
€20m fee
French outlet RMC Sport, via Get Football News France , report that an agreement has been reached in principal between the two clubs, with Wolves paying a fee of around €20 million (£16.6m).
Transfer twist
There could however be a doubt on a late deal, with the same report in France claiming that Reims will only allow the player to leave if they are successful in bringing in a replacement before the deadline. The French club are reported to be Montpellier’s Joris Chotard.
