Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount responded to Friday night's late win over Leicester City with a one-word message to match-winner Harry Maguire.

After falling behind in the first-half through Bobby De Cordova-Reid, United turned the cup tie around with goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Maguire to progress to the fifth round.

Zirkzee came off the bench and scored nine minutes later before Maguire, from an apparently offside position, headed past Mads Hermansen in the 92nd minute.

United's position in the Premier League means the FA Cup and Europa League are possible ways to secure European football for next season. Retaining the FA Cup would see them compete in the Europa League while success in Europe this season will see them qualify for the Champions League.

Ruben Amorim’s men will now wait until Sunday’s draw for the fifth round to find out their next opponents in the cup.

Following the win, Maguire took to social media to celebrate the win over his former team. Posting a picture of him celebrating his header, the defender wrote: "Last minute winner at the Stretford End *red love heart emoji* *love-struck eye emoji*."

Mount, who has been out with an injury since the Manchester derby win, was quick to respond to the win on social media. Sharing the clubs' post-match graphic on Instagram on his story, he wrote: "Limbs!!! @harrymaguire93."

Maguire’s winner, his first goal since the 3-3 draw at FC Porto under Erik ten Hag, resulted in jubilant scenes infront of the Stretford End after another tough outing at Old Trafford.

"(It was a) great finish to the game," Maguire said. "The second half we played a lot better. The first half was nowhere near good enough, we played at a slow tempo and we didn't really get going.

"He (Alejandro Garnacho) made a big impact. He always does that when he comes off the bench, so credit to him, he's ready, he's focused."
