Mason Munn in Rangers FC debut as NI teen earns dream start in Scottish Cup
A Northern Ireland teenager earned a dream debut for Rangers on Sunday. Mason Munn was included in Philippe Clement's starting XI for the Scottish Cup tie with Fraserburgh.
Munn was one of several changes made by Clement for the fourth round clash, and the 18-year-old impressed in the 5-0 win in front of a bumper crowd at Ibrox.
The teenage goalkeeper joined Rangers Academy from Glentoran in 2022 and has also represented Northern Ireland at underage level.

Sunday was a big chance for Munn to showcase his potential, especially in front of first-team boss Clement who is a massive fan.
The youngster has been on the fringes of Clement's side this season, having previously featured on the bench for the Glasgow giants. He stepped in following an injury to Jack Butland.
On Sunday Munn joined fellow Northern Ireland man Ross McCausland in Rangers' starting line-up, who scored the fourth goal in the 5-0 rout.
It is the latest stellar moment for teenager Munn who was recently part of the Rangers B side that lifted the Glasgow Cup after beating Celtic 3-2 in the final at Queen’s Park’s City Stadium.
Clement was also in attendance that day, and Munn admitted winning the cup was vital experience for any player hoping to make it at Ibrox.
He said: ”It’s an experience. This is things we need to do is to go and experience these games and to win.

”Because at Rangers that’s what you need to do, win finals and win big games. For us to get an experience of it now at this young age is massive so yeah, it’s all good.”
Munn signed a bumper long-term contract extension with Rangers last summer, putting pen-to-paper on a new four-year deal which will see him tied to the Ibrox club until 2028.
Speaking at the time, Rangers boss Clement said: “We are delighted that Mason has committed his future to Rangers. It is recognition of his development in the Academy in recent years, and, as a boyhood Rangers fan, he is well aware of what it takes to represent this club.
“There is further improvement to come from Mason in the years ahead and we look forward to his continued development as an individual.”
