Match for Hope 2025 explained: Arsenal and Chelsea icons, kick-off time and live stream details
The latest edition of Match for Hope takes place this Friday, February 14 as a collection of football's legends of yesteryear and the biggest celebrity influencers go head to head for charity.
Starting in 2024, the game was watched by an audience of 34k spectators at Qatar's Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, 22.5m via live stream and raised $8.8m (£7m) for the Education Above All (EAA) foundation's initiatives in Lebanon, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria, and Pakistan.
British personality Chunkz captained a team managed by former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to a 7-5 victory over the opposition, captained by Kuwaiti YouTuber AboFlah and managed by ex-Chelsea coach Antonio Conte.

Featuring across both teams were a star-studded cast. Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba, Kaka, Roberto Carlos and David Silva were the highlights of the former footballers while US streamer IShowSpeed and British YouTuber Angry Ginge provided more draw to the event through their online viewership.
Now the charity event returns for a second time in 2025, with key differences to the line-ups. This time staged at Stadium 974 in Qatar, Chunkz will captain his team alongside IShowSpeed, promoted after last year's appearance, and on the opposite side newcomer KSI - star of stage, screen and boxing ring - joins AboFlah as captain.
But not only has the leadership of each team changed - the complete roster has too.
On 'Team Chunkz x Speed' are five legends of the sport. Ex-Man City hero Silva returns to play as does Tim Cahill, but this time the Australian will be in the dugout alongside another former Stamford Bridge boss, Mauricio Pochettino.
Barcelona icon Andres Iniesta and former Qatar international Mubarak Mustafa enter for 2025. Standout personalities in their line-up are member of British YouTube stars TBJZL, Manny, Harry Pinero, AJ Shabeel and Kenny.
'Team KSI x AboFlah' will be coached by Wenger, assisted by French actor Omar Sy, who has appeared in Hollywood blockbusters such as the 'Jurassic World' franchise and 'Transformers: The Last Knight'.
Former footballers in their line-up are Gunners legend Thierry Henry, Andrea Pirlo and Alessandro del Piero. The influencers joining them include more members of the British YouTube group The Sidemen, Miniminter and Behzinga.
Angry Ginge is back alongside fellow YouTubers Danny Aarons and Billy Wingrove, joined by US internet star Fanum among others.
On top of the match this Valentine's Day, kick-off 5pm GMT, but throughout the week the stars are going to be taking part in other activities such as padel and meet and greets with fans out in the Gulf state. US artist Macklemore is also set to stage a half-time performance.
