Matheus Cunha to Arsenal transfer boost as in-demand Wolves star makes major January 'decision'
Matheus Cunha has, reportedly, made a decision on his future that would hand a major boost to Arsenal.
Cunha's future has been the subject of speculation throughout the January transfer window, with Arsenal heavily linked with a swoop for the Wolves player. The Gunners are yet to complete their first signing of the window, but have until February 3 to complete their business.
Arsenal have been mooted alongside Manchester United and Nottingham Forest in showing an interest in signing Cunha this month. The Brazilian has scored ten goals in the Premier League so far this term, with the latest update suggesting that the Gunners may have an advantage in any proposed deal.

According to Give Me Sport, Cunha would "favour" a switch to Arsenal over other clubs in the Premier League. The update comes amid previous reports that the 25-year-old could sign a new contract to extend his stay at Molineux.
It has been claimed that Cunha wants to sign for the Gunners before the transfer window closes next week. The Gunners will, reportedly, face competition from United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle for Cunha's signature but, seemingly, have the advantage in the race to complete a deal.
Wolves reportedly value Cunha at around £60million, with their forward having two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal. After reports emerged claiming that Cunha was set to sign a new contract at Wolves, it seems the latest rumours suggest an exit within the next week is now more likely.
Cunha is one of a host of forwards who have been linked with signing for Arsenal in recent weeks. Cunha joins a host of strikers, including Benjamin Sesko, Alexander Isak, Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres in being tipped to join the Gunners before the transfer window closes, or this summer, at the latest.
