Mathys Tel first words after Tottenham transfer from Bayern Munich confirmed
Mathys Tel has sent a clear six-word message upon joining Tottenham from Bayern Munich. The 19-year-old turned down a permanent move to Spurs earlier this week but has since completed a huge U-turn and agreed to join following a lengthy conversation with Ange Postecoglou.
Arsenal, Manchester United and staying at Bayern were all possible scenarios following his first decision, however when presented with the project and an initial temporary switch, Tel accepted those terms.
football.london also understands that the Lilywhites have included an option-to-buy him on a permanent basis. If that clause is activated, the teenager would sign a six-year contract and join for €55million (£45.7million) this summer.

As part of his announcement video, posted just after the 11pm deadline, Spurs included a short clip of Tel in what can technically be considered his first words since sealing the move, At the end of the video, he said: "I'll Tel you something, I'm here."
Tel is expected to be available immediately and could therefore feature against Liverpool on Thursday in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg or this weekend's FA Cup fourth round tie with Aston Villa. However, it is considered more likely his debut comes against Man United in the Premier League later this month.
He joins Antonin Kinsky and Kevin Danso as winter window arrivals that have and will go straight into Postecoglou's squad. A deal has also been agreed for young Liverpool defender Luca Furnell-Gill has agreed to join Tottenham.
