AFTER a successful pilot episode last week, "Matt's Matchdays" is back!

Our intrepid Warrington Wolves reporter Matt Turner hit the road - or more specifically, the rails - to bring you our usual in-depth coverage of The Wire's Challenge Cup trip to Whitehaven on Saturday.

As it was for many Warrington supporters, 'Haven's Ortus Rec home ground was new territory for Matt and a refreshing break from the norm to kick off the 2025 season.

The Wire came away happy having got the job done, with a 44-4 victory booking their spot in the fourth round draw as four players - Danny Walker, Jake Thewlis, Cai Taylor-Wray and Oli Leyland - scored two tries each.
